ST. AUGUSTINE’S VOCATIONAL AND TECHNOLOGY CENTRE (SAVATEC) JOS
Saint Augustine’s Vocational and Technology Center, SAVATEC is a non-governmental organization established by the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) in 2010. Its emergence was to serve as a panacea for the aftermath of 2010 Jos crisis. Thus the centre began to dispense services in areas of Human and Capital Development -using entrepreneurship skills development as a tool in mitigating economic depression in Jos and other parts of Northern Nigeria.

2013-2014
European Union (EU)/APURIMAC ONLUS
(Instrument Contributing to Stability and Peace ICSP)
In the year 2013 the European Union (EU) in partnership with APURIMAC ONLUS took over from Catholic Women Organization (CWO) on a project Titled (Instrument Contributing to Stability and Peace ICSP) and open up more training centers in Katako (Jos North), Mangu, and Mikang making Rantya the headquarter. During the project of Apurimac Onlus, UNDP came in and partnered with the centre.
2015-2016
ASSOCIAZIONE APURIMAC ONLUS,BEGE Foundation, CEPAN,ITF
(Instrument Contributing to Stability and Peace ICSP)
In 2015 ASSOCIAZIONE APURIMAC ONLUS partnered with the Center with a project (Instrument Contributing to Stability and Peace ICSP/2015/359-478) with local partners, BEGE Foundation and Centre for Peace Advancement in Nigeria (CEPAN) from 2015 to 2016, in the same year 2016 the Centre partnered with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) to train women and youths on a project Titled Women and Youths Empowerment Program
2017
Plateau state government
Simon Lalong Empowerment Scheme (SLEM)
In 2017 the vocational center partnered with Plateau state government under the project Simon Lalong Empowerment Scheme (SLEM). And in the same year the centre was handed over to the Order of St. Augustine, Province of St. Augustine of Nigeria, and it took the name ‘Augustinian Vocational Centre’ (AVC).

MISS PLATEAU CARNIVAL
In the year 2019 the center partnered with IDP under the auspices of MISS PLATEAU CARNIVAL 2019.
2022-2023
SOS Children Village, Nigeria
ALTERNATIVE DEVELOPMENT TO NEXT ECONOMY: YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
In 2022 it also partnered with SOS Children Village, Nigeria in training the youths on “ALTERNATIVE DEVELOPMENT TO NEXT ECONOMY: YOUTH EMPOWERMENT”

SPECIAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (SSIP), Youth Empowerment Initiative Programme phase 1
In 2023, the centre partnered with ITF in running SPECIAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (SSIP) as well as ITF-NECA program, also in 2023 the centre is in partnership with Nigeria Conference of Women Religious (NCWR) on a project Titled Youth Empowerment Initiative Programme phase 1
